Refund & Return Policy

Returns
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days without giving any reason.

During this period, you may do with the product what is reasonably necessary to assess it. You may try the product as you would in a physical store. You may remove the product from the packaging unless the packaging is sealed. If you have done more than necessary to try the product, we may charge you for this.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you, or a third party appointed by you other than the carrier, have taken possession of the product. If you have ordered multiple goods with different delivery times in one order, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you have received the last product or part.

If you have agreed with us on regular delivery of products, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after you or a third party appointed by you has physically taken possession of the first product.

You must return the products within 14 days of sending the email.
We ask you to return the product as much as possible in the original packaging.

Refund
In case of withdrawal, you will receive a refund for the products, excluding delivery costs, as soon as possible and at the latest within 14 days after you have indicated you want to exercise your right of withdrawal.

We will refund you using the same payment method as you used, unless you agree otherwise. You bear the costs of returning the products.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal is excluded for:

  • Products made to your specifications, such as custom-made products.
  • Due to the fragile casing of the betalights, you must check on the day of receipt whether the shipment has arrived undamaged. If you do not report defects immediately, we cannot reimburse defective items received.

Warranty
We care about our products and naturally do our best to deliver them to you in top condition. However, sometimes an order may be damaged during transport or something else may happen that entitles you to a warranty claim. Under European law, we are liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years after delivery of the goods. You may have additional rights under Dutch law.
If you discover or should have discovered a defect in the product, you must contact us within a reasonable period. A reasonable period is at least two months. Under certain circumstances, a period longer than two months may also be acceptable.
If you contact us in time, we will arrange free repair or replacement.

Complaints

Sometimes things do not go as planned. We recommend that you first report complaints to us by emailing info@carpylights.com. If this does not lead to a solution, you can submit your dispute for mediation via WebwinkelKeur at https://www.webwinkelkeur.nl/kennisbank/consumenten/geschil.
