• Use Quality Candles: Always use high-quality candles for efficient and safe operation.
• Test at Home: Test your heater for the first time at home in a larger open space to ensure everything works properly.
• Lighting: Keep the lid off while lighting the candles until they are burning steadily, then the lid can be placed on.
• Safe Handles: Although the lid becomes hot during use, the handles remain cool enough to handle safely.
• Cleaning: Clean the inside of the lid after each use to ensure optimal performance during your next session.
• Never Unattended: As with any open flame, never leave the candles unattended.

Available Models:

Hayes Bivvy Heaters come with an engraved carp and the Hayes Bivvy Heaters logo, except for the black 6-candle version, which is slightly cheaper due to the absence of these features.

Current Testing:

We are currently testing which candles available in the Netherlands perform best in our bivvy heaters. At the moment, we are testing paraffin-free candles, as these do not produce soot emissions during burning.
